Pinksilver stalwart and label co-owner Markojux (Mark Baumann) delivers his first full EP on Pinksilver Music’s Digital imprint with the sublime “Too Little Too Late†EP.
Weaving his way through luscious strings, dreamy piano chords and abstract vocals, Markojux stamps his unique style on this multilayered deep house release.
“Tech My Jazz†features the sublime piano keys of Colin Snape (aka Scrambler) alongside Markojux’s intricate drum patterns, delivering true avant-garde house that many electronic producers can only ever imitate.
“Just One Minute†continues the subterranean feel of the release, a track reminiscent of Hamburg’s Dial label & more famously Lawrence’s introspective, heart-felt melodies.
“Walk With Me†delivers another reflective, melancholy piece that sits proudly within the framework of the release, laden with a groovy 4/4 kick amongst wistful keys and pads.
The final track of the EP features Pinksilver favourite Miguel Colmenares with his remix of “Tech My Jazzâ€. Delivering his own inimitable & funky style to the table, Miguel makes “Tech My Jazz†sound uniquely his own to finely round-off a quality release from one of Australia’s most underrated producers.
